About

Munca, a sculpture by Leo Mathias, brings metal forms together around a sphere that evokes globalisation. Panels surrounding the globe represent progress, the energy of business and the constant movement of work. Inside, four flames symbolise strength, commitment, seriousness and evolution.

The work connects the individual, work and an interconnected world, expressing the pursuit of transformation and prosperity. This unique piece is made from carbon steel and stainless steel using welding and cold forming, and measures 190 × 190 × 340 cm.

Located at Vésta Shopping, the sculpture stands in a freely accessible space open for visits 24 hours a day. At night, the shopping centre’s lighting highlights its forms and materials.
