About

Monumento Torres spells out the city’s name in large concrete letters beside Prainha. Beach, sea and Morro do Farol form the backdrop for a photo stop along the waterfront.

The sign was designed by the City of Torres in partnership with the Associação das Construtoras e Incorporadoras de Torres (Actor), and construction began in 2018.

Discover the history of surfing, local crafts, public art and the historical and religious heritage of Torres at eleven stops, from the Molhes to the Centro and Santinha. The route runs from north to south, keeping the two Vésta Shopping sculptures and the Centro Histórico stops together. Follow the stamp order and check opening times for indoor visits. Casa da Terra reports opening hours of 9 am–6 pm in winter and 9 am–8 pm in summer. Choose dry weather for Caminho da Santinha.
